Lifting subsidies on oil, wheat and electricity- "the necessity and risk"
Reforming the economic situation cannot be successful without making hard treatments , The situation in a short period, has many difficulties facing the government which will be concerned how to face these protests . Treatment will take long periods, and will be done with mechanisms that may be difficult and bitter. We must realize that. Otherwise, we will cheat ourselves.
Government executives and experts and specialists have to search for ways and methods to work to persuade people of these difficulties and not waste time talking about the previous situation. And trials and reactions and confronting opposition media, and empowerment and employment, because that would distract ideas in how to obtain treatments and put them for implementation, and waste time.
The prevarication of not showing the importance of removing subsidies on fuel, flour, and electricity will not solve the problem and may make it worse, it is necessary to be frank and clear and notify the patient of his health condition, which calls for serious interventions, I know that many people do not mention this, not for lack of their knowledge and Their conviction is necessary and important, but perhaps to gain the sympathy of the simple people.
Before talking about lifting subsidies, reforms must be made in the public work cup, and the citizen must feel that the state is just as it pressures or hurts him with these measures, it must also make him feel that it is carrying out measures to reform the state and not waste money in the conduct of work and work with less money for government .
What is filtered by news about pumping billions of friends to the Bank of Sudan for financial reform and strengthening the exchange rate cannot be considered solutions to the economic problem in Sudan. Electricity spare parts, which is a clear sense of the corresponding payment of subsidies for these commodities, meaning that they will not be productive investment capital.
Treating economic problems in Sudan, but in any country in the world lies only in "production". With production, sufficiency is achieved, prosperity is achieved, and life settles, so instead of wasting time in conferences, seminars, visits, committees, and meetings, we must search for mechanisms to persuade Countries and international financial institutions, first by forgiving debt or some prevention or delaying it, and then entering into strategic investments in infrastructure and extracting natural resources.
Our country has many resources. As for what is called financial pumping to revive the central bank, it is only as I mentioned temporary solutions.
And we repeat: -
■ The control and management of the state’s cash flow must be the responsibility of only one authority, the Ministry of Finance, and that the distribution of funding be according to fixed plans that do not change, whatever the circumstances, and that the state’s institutions are prevented, especially security, the army, the judiciary, the police, and The Presidency of the Republic "from dealing with the surplus of public funds it has to any party, and we have seen the establishment of huge projects in hard currency with funding from agencies that are primarily derived from their public finance.
■ Work to support the productive sector of agriculture, industry and tourism, and support is not only financial, but these sectors must be given priority in the media and internal and external training and the selection of appropriate competencies and facilitation of these sectors for coordination and cooperation with global, regional and local bodies.
■ Changing the culture of empowering the (presidency) and generous spending on him in security, ceremonies, movement and hospitality, and this does not happen unless the government declares a state of emergency in its departments :-
- Stop the celebrations
- Stop festivals.
- Stopping spending on
everything that is not beneficial or secondary.
- High-rise buildings, clubs, and luxury cars that are provided to the security, military and judicial authorities, whose costs should be directed towards production, agriculture, ..
- Stop what are called projects, as there are many projects outside the domination of finance.
■ Reducing taxes, customs and duties on agricultural production inputs ,,
■ Facilitating and simplifying government procedures, while keeping the bureaucracy in service, to prevent corruption that spreads under the pretext of simplification.
■Encouraging and supporting producers and exports.
■ Graceful government ... in its ministers and its constitutions.
■ Stopping all unimportant and luxury imports in the presence of local alternatives.
■ Supporting research in the agricultural and animal production fields, while preparing and supporting research centers.
■ Create a healthy and tourist environment for cities to attract tourism.
